Pour & Plate is about drinking better without the pretension — real pairings for real life, from an ordinary Tuesday to hosting a proper wine dinner.

Each week brings a mix of:

  • Weeknight Pour — one wine, one recipe, paired and explained. Something you can shop for, cook, and pour the same night.

  • Family Pour — a main, a side, and a bottle worth opening for a table of four to six. Made for Sunday dinners, birthdays, and the meals where everyone stays a little longer.

  • Wine Night — everything you need to host: a full menu, the wines in tasting order, a shopping list, and a timing plan so the food and the pours land together instead of you scrambling in the kitchen while guests wait.

  • Occasional extras — equipment reviews, gear worth owning, and other food-and-drink finds along the way.

I’ve loved cooking for as long as I can remember. Twenty years of studying wine and cocktails, and five years of hosting wine nights, led to Pour & Plate.

Who it’s for

If you like to cook, you’re curious about wine but don’t want a lecture, and you want guidance that works for both a quiet Tuesday and a table full of guests, this is for you.

What you get

A new post every week (sometimes more). Everything’s free right now, archive included — that’ll change over time, but for now, dig in.
